Love and love is all i have!!

As days rolled by,

i peer into the sky,

blank and empty,

lonely and forty...

the move i never made,

the scar that refused to fade,

the courage that never came,

why was i so lame?

on a bright august morning,

came to sight a dangling earring,

hoisted below a small ear,

wish i could whisper near..

there was a pretty twirl,

sent my life into a whirl,

eyes catchy and blue,

lies could be made true...

lips,rosy and tender,

starring proved to be my blunder,

she turned and left,

her get away agile and deft...

here i am twenty years later,

never got to court her...and

love is all i have!!
